אָרִיס, אֲרִיסָא, אֲרִישָׂאch. 1) same, also field laborer. Targ. Y. Deut. 23:25; 26 Levita (ed. פועל). Targ. Cant. 8:11.Ab. Zar.21b א׳ אריסותיה קעביד the gentile tenant working during the Jewish festive week, works for his tenancy (not as the Jews employee).
